Diving Malaysia - Liveaboards to Asia's favourite dive sites

Malaysia Liveaboards :: Malaysia Dive Courses

Most Malaysia dive liveaboards are geared towards certified divers and it is often not possible to get SCUBA certified on the boat. Most divers joining these liveaboards have some experience. Nitrox is a popular continuing education course on Indonesia dive liveaboards

If you wish to further your dive training on a liveaboard trip that is normally possible. Advanced courses and speciality courses are available, although pre booking may be necessary.

Popular specialty courses are Enriched Air Nitrox and Photography courses. These type of courses can be easily integrated into the scheduled dives on the trip without any disruption.

We can arrange PADI SCUBA certification in other parts of Malaysia.

Contact us with your specific course requirements and we'll do our best to find a solution for you or point you in the right direction.

A few suggestions for where to dive in the Malaysia:
  • Sipadan is widely regarded as Malaysia's best diving and is up there with the best dive destinations in the world. Divers first started visiting Sipadan in 1984 and Jacques Cousteau described it as the best shore diving in the world. The tiny island that drops off 600m into the Sulawesi sea is famous for sharks, turtles, barracuda and humphead parrotfish, all of which are virtually guaranteed, but in fact you can see much more than that at Sipadan. All sorts of marine visitors pass by including whale sharks, thresher sharks, hammerhead sharks, manta rays and eagle rays.
  • Mabul should not be overlooked while you are near Sipadan because there is some amazing "macro" or "muck" diving at Mabul.
  • The stunning stlited water village of Kapalai also has some wonderful macro divers on it's Litigan reefs. Mandarin fish can be seen just a few fin kicks from the resort jetty.
  • Visit Layang Layang at the right time and you'll be treated to the sight of schooling hammerhead sharks.
  • The Perhentian Islands offer chilled out diving off West Malaysia's east coast
